I often reminisce to my younger days on the island of Curaçao. My shower routine has always been near and dear to me, a special and sacred moment of self-care. I would open my windows and feel the warm breeze, bringing with it the aroma of the nearby mango tree and banana plant, as I step into the shower. Thinking back on these bubbly days in the Caribbean always brings me so much joy.

With this in mind, I decided to find a way to share this magical experience with others. And so I came up with Skhooma.

Skuma (Stylized as Skhooma) means bubbles in Papiamentu, our native language on the island of Curaçao. Here at Skhooma, we aim to bring you endless bubbles of joy, inspired by the Caribbean shower experience.
